who i am

I’m a University of Toronto HBSc student completing a Computer Science Specialist, Physics Minor, and Focus in AI. I’m currently a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Shopify, working on personalized search ranking.

Previously, I built authentication APIs at CIBC and developed a React and Node.js job board with Blueprint for Toronto Community Employment Services.

  • Led a personalized relevance ranker for Shop App search, deriving buyer-profile features from large datasets and training distributed ranking models that improved pOneDCG@1 by 6.7 points.
  • Engineered personalization features earning 13 top-30 signal rankings; evaluated LLM relevance signals and fine-tuned candidates on GPU across 4.3M+ search-result rows.

  • Collaborated with IBM engineers on multi-agent AI RAG using AutoGen and prompt engineering; parsed specifications, found 70+ inconsistencies, and generated and validated test cases.
